LOCATION

Location refers to a specific physical or logical area within a warehouse where inventory is stored or managed.

This module helps users define and organize warehouse zones for efficient tracking and retrieval of items. By creating distinct locations, warehouse operations become more structured and traceable.

  1. Click on Warehouse.
  2. Under Secondary Master, click on Location. STEPS FOR Location

A page will open where the user can add a new Location.

  1. Click on the Add button.

A new page will open with the following fields:

  • Select Warehouse: Select the warehouse information from the dropdown menu.
  • Location Name: Name of the Location. This field is required.
  • Description: Details about the Location.
  • Remarks: Additional comments or notes.
  • Active Status: Indicates if the Location is active.

Save: Click the Save button to submit the Location configuration.

Note - Select Warehouse , Location Name are mandatory.  

Once the Location is created, it will be visible on this page. MODIFY VIEW PAGE

ACTION

  • Edit: Clicking the pencil icon opens a form to edit the selected Location.
  • View: Clicking The Eye Icon icon displays a detailed view of the selected Location.

  • Add Icon: Clicking this icon opens a form to create a new Location.
  • Export to Excel Icon: Clicking this icon exports the table data to an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Search Input: This field allows users to search for Location content.
  • Search Icon: Clicking this icon displays a search bar to filter the table data.
  • Refresh: Reloads the current data or resets the view.
  • Home Icon: Clicking this icon redirects the user to the main dashboard or home page of the application.
  • Back Icon: Clicking this icon navigates the user back to the previous page or view.
