OPEN GRIN REPORTS

The Open GRIN Reports module allows users to track pending GRIN entries within the system. It provides a convenient way to filter and monitor materials that have been sent but not yet fully processed.

  1. Click on "Warehouse".
  2. Click on "Open GRIN Reports" under "Reports".

A page will be displayed where users can view the Open GRIN Reports form using the filters and fields can view the reports.

FORM

The interface includes the following filters to refine the GRIN report results:

Date Filters

  • From Date / To Date: Specify a date range for filtering GRIN records based on their creation or expected receipt date.

Action Buttons

  • Filter Button: Applies the selected filters and displays matching GRIN records.
  • Clear ButtonClears all filter criteria and resets the form.

Filter Criteria (Dropdowns)

  • Select Open GRIN Number: Dropdown to choose from a list of GRIN (Goods Receipt & Inspection Note) numbers that are still open or pending.
  • Select Material Sender: Filters GRIN entries based on the person, department, or vendor who sent the material.
  • Receipt Reference No: Enter or select a specific reference number associated with the material receipt to narrow down results.
  • Project Number: Dropdown to filter GRINs associated with a specific project or job code.
  • Item Number: Choose a specific item or SKU to view GRIN entries related to that item.

Note:* Users can apply filters by selecting a single dropdown or using multiple dropdowns simultaneously* to refine the results more precisely.

  • Filter Icon: Applies the selected filters and displays matching GRIN records.

  • Refresh: Refreshes the displayed data.
  • Home: Navigates to the application's home screen or dashboard.
  • Back Arrow: Navigates back to the previous screen.
  • Download File: Used to trigger report generation or download functionality.
  • Search Bar: Located at the top right, this allows quick searching across the report interface for specific keywords or entries.
