COST CENTER
A Cost Center is a department, unit, or function within an organization where costs are incurred and tracked separately. It helps in budgeting, expense management, and financial analysis by allocating costs to specific business activities. Users can create, manage, and categorize cost centers for better financial control and reporting.
Navigation Steps
- Click on "Kit Management".
- Under "Secondary Master", click on "Cost Center".

A page will open where the user can Create a new Cost Center and can view already created cost center information.
- Click on the "Add" button.
A new tab will open, displaying a form that needs to be filled out.
Cost Center Form

- Cost Center Name: Enter the name of the cost center.
- Description: Provide a brief description.
- Remarks: Add any relevant comments or notes.
- Active Status: This toggle option is enabled by default.
Save Button: Once all details are entered, click the Save button to store the information.
Notes - Cost Center Name is mandatory.
Once the Cost Center is created, it will be visible on this page.

Action

- Edit (Pencil Icon): Opens a form to update the selected Cost Center.
- View (Eye Icon): Displays complete details of the selected Cost Center.

- Add Icon: Clicking this icon opens a form to create a new Cost Center.
- Export to Excel Icon: Clicking this icon exports the table data to an Excel spreadsheet.
- Search Input: This field allows users to search for Cost Center content.
- Search Icon: Clicking this icon displays a search bar to filter the table data.
- Refresh: Reloads the current data or resets the view.
- Home Icon: Clicking this icon redirects the user to the main dashboard or home page of the application.
- Back Icon: Clicking this icon navigates the user back to the previous page or view.
