RELEASE BOM

A Release BOM (Bill of Materials) is a finalized list of components, assemblies, and materials required for a specific engineering, costing, or production process. It serves as a structured document that outlines what is needed for a particular release, ensuring accuracy and consistency across different departments.

  1. Click on "Kit Management".
  2. Under "Engg BOM", click on "Release BOM". STEPS TO RELEASE BOM

A page will open where the user can view and add New Release BOM information.

  1. Click on the "Add" button.

A new page will open with the following fields:

RELEASE BOM FORM

  • Release For: Select the appropriate release category.
    • Engineering: Choose this option when releasing an update related to engineering.
    • Costing: Select this when releasing a costing-related update.
    • Production: Use this option when releasing updates related to production.
  • Item Number/Description: Enter the item number or description manually, or select from the dropdown menu.
  • Release Version: Specify the release version or choose from the dropdown menu.
  • Release Note: Provide a detailed release note outlining the changes, enhancements, or fixes included in this release.

Release Button: Click the Release button to save the information.

Notes - Release For, Item Number/Description, Release Version are mandatory.

View

RELEASE BOM VIEW OR SEARCH

  1. View Release BOM: Users can review the details of the BOM they have released. The interface includes three tabs Engineering, Costing, and Production— where users can view releases categorized under each respective section.

RELEASE BOM ACTION

  • View: Click the Eye icon to view the information of a Release BOM.
  • Print: Click the Print icon to print the release BOM Data.

  • Plus Icon(Add Record): Click to create a new record.
  • Export to Excel Icon: Click to export the displayed data to an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Search Input: Enter keywords to filter the displayed records based on any column content.
  • Refresh: Click to refresh the data displayed in the table.
  • Home Icon: Navigate to the home or main page of the application.
  • Back Icon: Navigate back to the previous page.
